Easter Bunny Success

Our experiences with the Easter Bunny and Santa have been so traumatic thus far that BVZ didn't even think we should try this year. We don't want Norah to end up on Intervention, so we try not to force her to do things that make her cry. But she is REALLY into bunnies and especially the 2 foot high bunnies on our neighbors' porch (every night during our walk she runs up and hugs them. It is painfully cute. I tried to get a video of it last night but the neighbors couldn't see her--just me filming the front of their house. Can you say awkward??) Anyway, we've been talking up the EB in a big way and I was confident she could handle it. We walked around the display a few times so she could see everything that was going on and it was game on. We actually had to hold her back because she was cutting in front of all of the other kids.

There was a surprising long line for Friday morning, so Norah entertained herself by touching all the decorations and going through strangers' diaper bags.

She had a moment of hesitation right before sitting on the EB's lap, but shockingly didn't freak out.

We told her to make her 'happy face' and the official shot turned out really cute.

We celebrated her great success at the California Pizza Kitchen. I hadn't eaten there in years. It's not very good. But, Norah got to sit in a booster seat, so overall win.

Very cute! You make me laugh pretty much every time I read your blog. Today the image of your neighbors seeing you with a camera in front of their house was my laugh out loud moment.
